E-Learning Foundation

The E-learning Foundation have worked with us over the last 2 years to build our "Tools for Learning" program. They have offered us help and advice, contributing to the scheme through grant funding. The program has so far helped 230 students in Year 8 and 11 have access to their own Asus Eee-PC. This year we are working together to give a further 240 students in Year 7 and 10 access to their own device. Coupled with internet access at reduced cost and use of the VLE (virtual learning environment) our project will allow students access to learning resources anytime, anywhere.

Total Fitness

Total Fitness are providing the opportunity for Lysander Sixth Form College students to use their facilities free of charge for 1 hour a week. Students can take part in a range of activities including structured fitness classes, a workout in the gym and swimming.
